Research @ UMBC
Grant Database
The Grant Database is a searchable database of grants for research. "Research @ UMBC," the client, wished to provide the UMBC research community with an easy way to find grants from their existing list. In doing so, they hired New Media Studio to create the Grant Database for which then I was assigned as developer and designer.
For the design work, I created the layout for the search form and search results within the visual style that matched that of the "Research @ UMBC" website.
As for the programming, I created the search engine with PHP, MySQL, and Apache directives. In addition to the search engine, I created a web base admin tool which utilizes the UMBC Single-Sign-On for authentication.
